Xamidov Abdumalik Kironovich was born on 7 September 1981 in Denov district of Surkhandarya region. He is Uzbek by nationality. He completed his secondary education in Denov in 1997. In pursuit of higher education, he entered Termiz State University, where he successfully completed his bachelor’s degree in 2005. Continuing his academic development, he obtained a master’s degree in 2010 in the field of Linguistics (Uzbek language) from the same institution.
Throughout his pedagogical and scholarly career, Abdumalik Xamidov has consistently engaged in research and teaching related to Uzbek linguistics, Uzbek language and literature, as well as the methodological foundations of language education. Between 2010 and 2019, he served as a lecturer at the Department of Uzbek Linguistics at Termiz State University, teaching various courses including linguistic theory, practical grammar, stylistics, and related subjects. In 2019–2020, he continued his professional activity as a senior lecturer at the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature of the same university.
From 2020 to 2022, he worked as the head of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature at the Denov Institute of Entrepreneurship and Pedagogy, where he contributed to the enhancement of academic programs, improvement of methodological approaches, and the stimulation of research activities among young scholars. Between 2022 and 2024, he held the position of Dean of the Faculty of Philology at the Termez State Pedagogical Institute, overseeing academic, organizational, and research-related processes within the faculty.
During 2024–2025, he served as an associate professor at the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature at the Denov Institute of Entrepreneurship and Pedagogy. As of 1 August 2025, he has been working as the head of the Department of Primary Education Methodology at the same institute, where he continues his academic and administrative activities.
In 2020, Abdumalik Xamidov earned the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philology, and in 2022 he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in recognition of his scholarly contributions and teaching excellence.
His academic output is substantial: he is the author of 1 textbook, 3 educational manuals, 2 monographs, and more than 100 scientific articles. His research explores various aspects of the Uzbek language, including its structural, semantic and stylistic features, as well as methodological issues of language teaching. His works have been featured not only in national academic circles but also in international conferences and scholarly forums.
Today, Abdumalik Xamidov continues his efforts to advance pedagogical practices, modernize primary education methodology, and support the development of young researchers within the field of philology and linguistics.
